Peace, love and underwear?

Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora...kayaking, sunsets, snorkeling..bungalows on the water, black pearls and a couple's massage. Iteneraries, passports, carry-on.. Let the romantic get away for 2 begin..
The couple on this trip, however, was my sister and her husband. Oh how I wish I was feeding the fish in the ocean from my coffee table, but it was their 10th wedding anniversary. Happy Anniversary! And I had the chance to take care of their two little munchkins for the week. Perhaps in 5 years, they can watch my kids for 9 days of my vacation...we'll see what the future holds. ;)

For now, I get to enjoy being Aunt Amber. To say I enjoy this though, is really an understatement. It was quite the week, and I couldn't have been happier spending time with two little girls I don't get to see enough of.

Their mom and dad may have been the lucky ones to take the vacation.... but my world got just a little more colorful :)

I made their tutus in just a couple hours...they loved helping! Especially Mikayla, she just the little fashionista.

Sweet little Natalie.. who just loves the word - underwear! Some things are just much more fun as a 5 year old.

Pretty Mikayla.. little miss creativity. Oh how I wish I was that organized and artistic when I was 7!

Own It!

I went shopping with my best friend, Holly, yesterday. This is always a good time. Well, anything with Holly involved is fun in itself. But, she brought up a good point about confidence and 'pulling it off'. Many times things come along that I find myself thinking.. there is no way I could pull that off. It may be an outfit, a pair of shoes, a different car, a new job..whatever it is you just have to Own It. Make it yours! These days there is never one way of doing things. Sure there's always the politically correct way, but how much fun is that? I'm young, I'm not going to be afraid to wear a certain shirt, because it's "just not me". I'm not going to not try to get a job, because it doesn't sound like I fit the general job description. I'm going to OWN IT and make it mine. Do what I want and enjoy my life being me..because after all there is one and only Beez. So if you find yourself thinking that something might be a little out there, but you want to give it a try- Go For it.. and have fun! We only live once.

Hello Blogging

Hello to blogging. This is my first and only blog. Whoohoo!! So, here goes.. You probably know me if you're reading this, and if you don't..well then awesome and nice to meet you! My objective here is to show off my photos that I take, and perhaps for someone to learn some things about me. I'll kick start this blog thing off with some pictures!
