Baby makes 5!

Maternity photos are always fun.. this was the first time I've photographed a family for a maternity session. These two boys might have been more excited about the geese at the park then my camera in their face, but we had a fun afternoon...and thanks to my hubby for tagging along and keeping the boys distracted so all Mom had to do was smile :)..

Hot, busy weekend.. we love it!

Don't think the 100 degree weather was stopping us from pulling out an old couch, climbing trees (ok, so we had the clients do that instead of us) and chasing around a 2 year old... all for the sake of a good photo. We love weekends like this, packed full of photo shoots! It's a good reminder that sometimes you have to put a little sweat into what you love to get the results you want.

Holly kicked off the weekend with a session with a little sisterly love..

Then early Sunday we headed to Loose Park for an engagement session with this gorgeous couple, Kate & Austin..

Later Sunday evening we traveled to Lake Shawnee in Topeka for a family session. Little Miss Avery had us cracking up the entire time..



'12 Seniors

As much as we aren't ready for summer to be over quite yet, we are ready to start booking for 2012 Senior Portraits. With back to school supplies already out, it's a reminder of how quickly things sneak up on us and how fast we book up during end of summer and early fall. Pics in The City

I recently traveled to New Jersey to visit  my sister and her two girls. They live just over an hour from NYC, so we hopped on the train one day to explore the big city. The day was awesome. We walked from the subway station to Central Park, to 5th Ave for a little shopping and Times Square. The day was beautiful and just as we got on a bus for a tour, it got cold and foggy. Now I know why everyone in New York is always in a jacket! Seeing the fog roll in through the buildings was still such a sight. Here are a few of my photos from the day.

Mr & Mrs Carter

We had the honor of photographing an absolutely adorable couple, Malarie and Jimmy. The wedding was in Marshfield, Missouri..at a beautiful cabin, tucked away behind some trees, hills and dirt! We had such a fun time with the family, they make you feel part of it. At the end of the night, Grandma even sent us home with pies!! Congrats to the Carters!
